Welcome to my first ongoing list! Below is a list of console games including Xbox, Playstation, Handheld and PC games. This list will continue to grow and evolve as I explore and play more games. Included are games that are newer and on current consoles as well as older games. All games listed will have links available where they can be purchased. I will also be adding links to my reviews of each game as they are published (you can find them after the title when they are posted)
Divinity: Original Sin (Classic). I heard that this game is like Baldur's Gate and was wondering if it had any romance options? Showing 1-9 of 9 comments. Lohse is an Origin or Companion in Divinity: Original Sin 2. Lohse's default class is Enchanter. All my life I've been a performer, a musician; beloved and celebrated by all.
If you have any questions about the games in the meantime, you can contact me at [email protected].

**Most of these games are available on multiple consoles. To avoid having this list read on forever, I’ve included links to whichever console has it available for cheaper. On most of these links, you can change the console you need the game for before purchase.**
1.Mass Effect Series–
A Sci-fi series of 3 games, 4 if you include Andromeda- a game intended to start a new series. It has multiple romance options, some spanning the entirety of the series and includes same-sex relationship options as well. Also has a great character customization option.
Find it here:
2.Dragon Age Series-
Also a Bioware game series, set in a fantasy realm where you play a different hero in each game. My personal favorite of the Bioware games, this series offers multiple romance options as well. Since you play a different character in each game, you don’t get to romance the same characters each games though you do get fun mentions and meetings with your favorites from previous games. Offers same-sex romance and character customization options. There are currently 3 games and each are available on different consoles, including PC.
Find them here:
3. Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey-
The newest (for right now) of the Assassin’s Creed series. Offers multiple romance options. The romance in this game is a bit more casual than the other games an not quite as story-driven but still interesting. Also offers same-sex romance.
Find it here:
4. Elder Scrolls: Skyrim-
Arguably the best/most popular game in the series. It offers plenty of romance options. Just like Odyssey, the romances are more casual in nature and not story-driven. Offers character customization options.
Find it here:
5. Divinity: Original Sin 2-
In this incredible RPG, you have 2 romance options. Both are great storylines and add great content to an already amazing game. Offers character customization options, though I recommend choosing one of the preset characters.
Find it here:
6. Harvest Moon Series-
Spanning years of gaming, this farming simulator has plenty of romance. In every game you can choose between multiple bachelors and bachelorettes to find your soulmate. In some games you can even have a child. The original company that produced the series restructured so you can now find Harvest Moon series by Natsume and Story of Seasons series by XSeed. Some games offer character customization and/or the ability to change your air and clothes in-game.
Find a few here:
7. Persona 5-
Most recent game of the series. An excellent RPG with action and romance. As the main character you can choose between multiple romance options that each have their own, unique storylines. The added challenge to this game is the time limit. Choose quickly and wisely as you have a limited time to choose your gameplay.
Find it here for PS4 only:
8. Stardew Valley-
![Divinity Divinity](/uploads/1/1/8/6/118605508/323203515.jpg)
Similar to the Harvest Moon series, this game takes the concept and improves it. Back to retro style graphics, you play a farmer intent on improving your farm and maybe find some love along the way. The game offers same-sex marriage and is constantly updating so the possibilities are endless. Offers character customization.
Find it here (also available as a mobile app!):
9. The Sims Series-
Currently on Sims 4, these games have multiple expansions that offer a variety of new things to try. You create a Sim or Sim family and choose how they lead their lives. Fully customizable and the best part is, you create your own story.
Find it here and on PC:
10. My Time at Portia-
Similar to the Harvest Moon series, you take over a farm and begin to rebuild. This game has character creation and a unique way to begin farming and taking care of your livestock. It also has a dungeon system where you can defeat monsters for crafting supplies. There are several villagers that you can romance and is still being updated constantly for better content.

Find it here (also available on PC):
11. Final Fantasy X-
Also including FFXIV, FFVIII and FFVII. The final fantasy series is known for having an excellent storyline with great character development. Every once in a while, a game will also include an excellent love story. Though many of these listed have a great love story, my personal favorite is from the 10th game in the series. The romance proceeds as part of the story and has a beautiful, iconic ending. Fun fact- it is also one of the only final fantasy games with a sequel. **The remake for FFVII is coming out soon!
Find them here:
12. Star Wars: The Old Republic-
Only available on PC, this MMO has an excellent story-driven gameplay with action and romance included. You can choose a class and create a character with a dedicated story. Like all Bioware games you can make decisions that impact your gameplay. Each class also has a set of characters to romance and with recent expansions, they have added even more romanceable characters.
You can download it here:
13. JRPG Visual Novels-
Primarily available as otome games on your phone, there are a few available as visual novels on several consoles and PC. These are stories that you can play through, make conversation decisions and, sometimes, create a character. Romance is the game!
There is an excellent list of games on this blog:
14. Fire Emblem: Awakening
A turn-based RPG, this game is primarily action with a hint of romance. By choosing certain teams and strategies, your companions can romance each other and even have children.

15. The Witcher 3:
In this action RPG, you play Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter known as a witcher, who is looking for his missing adopted daughter on the run from the Wild Hunt. You have 2 romancable options, both interesting and strong, powerful women. You can also “romance” other characters but they are not exactly story-driven.
16. Rune Factory Series
Brought to you by the same company that made Harvest Moon, this series is more like My Time at Portia as it combines farming with action. This game has the more traditional farming with dungeons included. They typically also include a storyline. Just like Harvest Moon, there are several bachelors and bachelorettes you can choose from.

The original game that inspired The Old Republic. In this game you choose a class to play and begin your war between light and dark side. You can also find a few love interest along the way. Includes minimal character creation.
18. The Uncharted Series
This four-part series has romance included in the plot. You play Nathan Drake, a treaure hunter and explorer and meet Elena Fisher along the way. It is a great action-filled adventure and the romance adds a unique and realistic touch.
Find it here for the PS4 only:
19. Fallout 4
An action RPG with an incredible story, this game allows you to romance your companions, each with their own, unique backstory. Though you cant marry in this game and there isn’t a unique romance plot, each companion you become closer with grants small bonuses that help in the post-apocalyptic wasteland. Includes character creation (and you can build several home/bases!)
Find it here:
20. Jade Empire
Another older game, Jade Empire is set in a fictional far-eastern kingdom based on elements of Ancient Chinese history and Chinese mythology.
